TrackingTime PRO is about to be launched: What you need to know

TrackingTime PRO will be launched next week. Here’s how we’re going to update our web, desktop and mobile apps to make the transition to a whole-new time tracking experience as smooth as possible.


Exciting times at TrackingTime! Our premium product with more than 100 new features and improvements and a beautiful, brand-new UI is almost ready. Next week, on April, 12th 2016, we’ll release TrackingTime PRO to all our users. 💃🎉


While there is no action required on your end to start using the new app, here are a couple of things you should know about how we’re going to release our web, desktop and mobile apps.


Web App


The new web app is already available at for you to try and get familiar with. You can login using your current email and password. Please note that you’ll be accessing your current TrackingTime account. This means that any changes you make using the PRO app will also affect your real TrackingTime data. Minor bugs and issues are still getting spotted (and fixed) every day. If something isn’t working as expected, please send us an email.


Starting on April, 12th the new web app will be available at, replacing the current web app. This will remain available on the web as TrackingTime Classic. We’ll announce further details about Classic in an upcoming post.


Chrome App


This week, we’ll start releasing the update to some of our Chrome users. By the end of next week all users should be using the new version. Since our chrome app updates automatically, there is no action required by you.


Mac App


We’ve already sent the update to the App Store and it’s waiting for review. It will be released as soon as it’s been accepted by the app store review team, hopefully next week also.


Mobile Apps


After the PRO launch, we’ll revamp our apps for iOS and Android. To make the transition to PRO as smooth as possible we’ll release the new mobile versions after all desktop and web apps have been updated.
